Which cards we quote, and why the list is short
The catalogue is NVIDIA GeForce RTX: the 50, 40 and 30 series, Founders Edition and partner cards from Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Zotac, Palit, Inno3D, PNY and Galax. The badge on the shroud does not change the chip, but it does change the cooler, and the cooler decides how a card survives four years in a warm Dubai room.
We do not quote AMD Radeon, Intel Arc or professional workstation cards. That is a deliberate limit, not an oversight. GeForce is what we resell every week, so we can price a specific variant tightly instead of padding the number to cover what we do not know.
If you are holding something outside that list, message us anyway. You get a straight no on WhatsApp in a couple of lines rather than after you have driven down Sheikh Zayed Road.
What sets the number on a used GeForce card
Two things. First the chip: an RTX 4090 and an RTX 4060 sit in different markets, and inside a generation the memory tier does most of the work. Cards with 16GB and 24GB get bid on by people building render and local-AI machines, not only by gamers, which is why they hold up better than raw gaming benchmarks suggest.
Second, the card in front of us rather than the model on paper. Hours under load, how the cooler has been treated, fan health, what paperwork survived, and how it behaves on a bench. None of that is decided from photographs, which is why the WhatsApp number is a quote and the counter number is an offer.
Physical size cuts both ways at resale. A three-fan card that ran cool in an open case usually beats a compact model that spent its life cooking in a cramped one, but a four-slot card that will not clear a mid-tower has a smaller pool of buyers here than one that drops into a standard build.
Selling one card, not the whole build
We buy the graphics card on its own. If you are stripping a desktop, pull the GPU and keep its support bracket, its power adapter and the retail box with it — those belong to the card, not to the case. We do not quote motherboards, processors, memory, power supplies, cases or cooling, so the rest of the machine is better sold whole to someone who wants a working PC.
That split usually works in your favour. The GPU carries the deepest second-hand demand and the clearest price of anything in a gaming desktop, so taking cash for it and letting the remainder go cheaply often beats waiting for one buyer to take the lot.
Remove it yourself if you can: hold the card by the bracket and the edges of the board, never by the fans, and carry it in the retail foam or a padded bag. If you would rather not, bring the tower in and we will take the card out at the counter.
Condition checks, and the page for your generation
Every card goes on a bench at the office before any money moves — a sustained graphics load and a separate memory stress test, with you watching if you want to. It settles the last few hundred dirhams in either direction with something better than an opinion.
Mining history, thermal pads and repastes all move the figure and none of them ends a sale. What they mean in practice differs by generation, so use the page that matches your card. Multi-card lots, clearances and collection
Clearing several cards at once — a shut-down render setup, a gaming café refresh, an office retiring its workstations, leftover retail stock — is a different job from selling one GPU, and it is handled differently. Send a list with model, variant, quantity and condition, plus photos of a representative card and of anything unusual in the batch.
Lots are quoted as a lot: one written figure, free pickup instead of four trips down Sheikh Zayed Road, and settlement by bank transfer rather than cash across a counter. Every card is still tested individually before the money moves.
If you already have a number from somewhere else, show us a written quote and we will try to beat it. If we cannot get there, you will hear that on WhatsApp rather than lose an afternoon finding out.
