The laptops we buy, and where yours is priced
Straight answer first: we buy Apple laptops. MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, Intel era and Apple silicon, 11-inch through 16-inch, in any finish and with an Arabic or an English keyboard. If it has an Apple logo on the lid and a keyboard attached, we can put a number on it, and the live table below shows where the current ceilings sit by model.
Beyond that, the site splits by machine so the pricing stays honest. MacBook Air and MacBook Pro each have their own page, their own model list and their own table. iMac, Mac mini, Mac Studio and Mac Pro are desktops and sit on the Mac desktop page. iPads are priced separately again.

Why selling a laptop is not like selling a phone
A phone is close to a commodity. Model, storage, battery health, colour, and the market has already decided. A laptop is a specification, and two machines with the same name on the lid can be worth very different money depending on what was ordered at purchase.
So we ask for more before quoting. Screen size, chip tier, memory, storage and any repair history all move the figure, and none of that is visible in a photo of a closed lid. Send it in the first message and the number you get is the number that survives the inspection.
The check itself is longer. A phone is a look at the screen, the battery reading and the lock status. A laptop gets the keyboard typed key by key, the trackpad worked across its whole surface, the hinge opened and closed, the ports examined for bent pins and the fans listened to under load.
Then there is what is on it. Phones arrive wiped. Laptops arrive with a decade of work on the drive, a work account still signed in, or an employer's management profile buried in the settings. Clearing that before you travel is the difference between a sale that completes and one that has to be abandoned.
Selling a work laptop, or clearing an office
If the laptop belongs to your employer, bring someone who can sign it over. We buy as CRONUS SMART GENERAL TRADING L.L.C. and can issue an invoice in your company's legal name, so finance has a clean record of where the asset went.
Past a handful of machines it stops being a walk-in. Send an asset list with model, year, specification and rough condition on each line and we quote against the list instead of one laptop at a time. For a collection we come to you, and payment on a larger deal usually goes by bank transfer rather than cash.
Everything we take in is erased. On a collection we can supply a certified data wipe with a certificate per device for your asset register, which is normally what IT needs before a machine can be signed off the books.
What a laptop loses while it sits in a drawer
The most expensive thing you can do with a laptop you no longer use is keep it. Apple refreshes the line most years, and every launch pushes the machine below it down a step. A laptop that felt current eighteen months ago is a generation or two back now, and the second-hand market prices it that way.
Batteries do not stop ageing when the lid is closed. A cell left sitting at full charge, or flat, for months loses capacity without doing a minute of work for you. Stored machines also collect the least valuable kind of damage: a knock in a cupboard, a bent corner from something stacked on top, a screen marked by whatever was left lying on the keyboard.
None of this makes an old laptop unsellable. We buy Intel machines from the middle of the last decade and we buy laptops that no longer switch on. It does mean the sensible moment to sell is when you stop using it, not two years later when you are clearing the flat.

Bring the laptop, its charger and your Emirates ID to Gold and Diamond Park, Building 2, Unit 2109, first floor, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. We are open Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 19:30 and Saturday from 11:00 to 16:00, and we are closed on Sunday. The inspection happens in front of you, not in a back room.
Payment is cash on the spot, or bank transfer if the amount is large or you prefer the record. Nothing is posted, nothing is kept overnight, and you leave with the money on the same visit.
