The two console families we buy, and why only two
We buy PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. On the PlayStation side that runs from the PS5 Pro and both PS5 Slim versions back through the original launch PS5 and the PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro. On the Nintendo side it covers the Switch 2, the OLED model, the original handheld and the Switch Lite.
The catalogue stops there deliberately. A published price is only worth anything if it is built on hardware we handle often enough to know what it resells for in this market, and these two families are what actually comes through the door. Anything outside them gets a straight no in a single reply rather than a vague maybe that costs you a trip across town.
Each family has its own page carrying the model-level detail: what a detachable disc drive is worth on a PS5, why stick drift costs more on a Switch Lite than on an OLED. If you already know exactly which unit you are holding, start there.
What decides the offer on a used console
Three things: whether it works properly, how hard it has been used, and how complete it is.
Working means it boots, holds an HDMI signal, reads a disc if it has a drive, and does not shut itself down under load. A console that has spent three years on a carpet in a closed room will have a fan packed with dust and will run hot, and heat is what kills these machines. If yours has been opened, re-pasted, re-shelled or fitted with a custom faceplate, say so up front. We will find it, and it changes the number.
Wear is judged against age, not against new. A five-year-old console is expected to look used, and light marks on a shell matter far less than a fan that screams or a port that has been forced. Completeness is the part sellers underrate: the original power lead, the correct HDMI cable and a second working controller all add value and cost you nothing to bring.
Sign out of your account before you come in
A console that arrives still tied to your account cannot be resold cleanly, and untangling it at the counter burns your afternoon rather than ours. Do it at home, on your own Wi-Fi.
On a PlayStation, deactivate the console as your primary system and then run a full factory reset; the PlayStation page shows where those settings sit and why the order matters. On a Switch, deregister the console from your Nintendo Account before you initialise it, for the reason the Nintendo Switch page sets out in full.
Then take out anything you intend to keep: storage cards, game media, an expansion drive. Whatever is still inside the console when you hand it over is treated as part of the sale, so check twice. Bring your Emirates ID, because every purchase is recorded against the seller's ID and the console serial number.
If a console fails the test at the counter
Nothing dramatic happens. We show you the fault on the screen in front of you, tell you what it costs to put right, and give you a revised number. You take it or you take the console home. There is no charge for the inspection and no obligation once you are standing there.
Most failures are undeclared rather than catastrophic: a stick that drifts, a drive that refuses a dual-layer disc, a unit that runs cleanly for ten minutes and then throttles because the fan is choked. Declaring those in the first message is always the cheaper path, because a quote that already accounts for them is a quote that holds.
A console that will not power on, or shows no video at all, is not priced from the table. Send a short video of what it does and we will either quote it manually or tell you plainly that it is not worth your journey.
How the walk-in works
Message the model on WhatsApp with a couple of photos, ideally the front, the ports and the serial label. During business hours you get an offer based on what you have described, not a wide range designed to be cut later.

The test itself is short: power on, video out, disc read where there is a drive, both sticks on every controller, fan noise, ports. If it matches the description, you are paid in cash before you leave. Show us a written quote from another buyer and we will try to beat it.
Selling several consoles at once
Gaming lounges refit, offices clear out a break room, and families end up with a shelf of hardware spanning three generations. If you have a batch rather than a single unit, send a list with models and rough condition and we price the lot as one deal.
A mixed batch is valued unit by unit and then settled as one figure, so a dead PS4 in the corner of the box does not drag down the working Switch beside it, and nobody asks you to sort the lot into good and bad before the conversation starts. Consoles can travel with phones, iPads and MacBooks in the same collection instead of five separate negotiations.
