The drive is the single biggest split on a PS5. A Slim with its drive attached is worth noticeably more than the digital edition, and a detachable drive on its own is worth listing separately.
One working pad is expected and a second one adds to the figure. Stick drift does not end a sale, but it is priced in, so say so upfront.
A console that roars under load or shuts itself off mid-session is a repair job rather than a resale. We run it until it is warm before quoting.
The HDMI port, the USB ports and the power socket all get tested. A bent or loose HDMI port is the most common fault on a console that has moved house a few times.
The original power lead matters most, because a console we cannot power on is a console we cannot test. Box, cables and a spare pad all add to the final figure.

Three things: whether it works properly, how hard it has been used, and how complete it is.
Working means it boots, holds an HDMI signal, reads a disc if it has a drive, and does not shut itself down under load. A console that has spent three years on a carpet in a closed room will have a fan packed with dust and will run hot, and heat is what kills these machines. If yours has been opened, re-pasted, re-shelled or fitted with a custom faceplate, say so up front. We will find it, and it changes the number.
Wear is judged against age, not against new. A five-year-old console is expected to look used, and light marks on a shell matter far less than a fan that screams or a port that has been forced. Completeness is the part sellers underrate: the original power lead, the correct HDMI cable and a second working controller all add value and cost you nothing to bring.
Once we have confirmed that we can consider your console and agreed the next steps, back up anything you want to keep and prepare it for handover using the manufacturer’s instructions.
For PlayStation, remove your personal account and payment details before completing a factory reset. If we have agreed to consider a Nintendo Switch, follow Nintendo’s account-removal and reset instructions.
Remove any game media, memory cards or expansion storage that are not part of the agreed sale. Bring your Emirates ID for the purchase record.
PS5 faults can be reviewed through our established service; describe them before visiting. The additional-gadget service requires fully working Xbox, Nintendo and other consoles. We cannot provide that gadget estimate for faulty items.

We buy consoles. A controller, dock, power lead or original box that arrives with the console raises the offer on that console, so bring everything you have with it. Loose game discs, cartridges and standalone accessories are not something we take on their own, so do not travel in expecting a separate price for them.
Yes, and being an import does not reduce the offer by itself. Two practical points: an overseas unit has no UAE warranty behind it, which only matters on near-new hardware, and the plug on its power lead may not be the local type. Bring whatever came in the box and we will test on ours if we have to.
The same day you walk in, during business hours. There is no waiting period, nothing held back while a payment clears, and no collection window to return for. Once the inspection matches what you described and the paperwork is signed, you take cash on the spot. Larger bulk lots are settled by bank transfer instead.
No. We are a walk-in office on Sheikh Zayed Road, so you can come during opening hours without booking anything. Getting a WhatsApp offer first is still worth the two minutes it takes, because you arrive already knowing the number, and if the answer is one you do not like you have saved yourself the journey.
Yes. A receipt matters only when there is UAE warranty left to pass on. What we do need is your Emirates ID, because every purchase is logged against the seller's ID and the console serial number. If the console is still linked to somebody else's account, get it deregistered by them before you come in.
