Switch 2, OLED, standard and Lite
The Switch 2 is the current machine and holds value accordingly: 256GB internal storage, a 7.9-inch 1080p screen and magnetic Joy-Con 2. It takes microSD Express cards rather than ordinary microSD, and those cost enough that it is worth taking yours out and keeping it.
The OLED model is the 7-inch, 64GB unit with the wide kickstand and a LAN port in its dock. Check the panel for burn-in from static HUD elements before you message us, because that is the first thing we look for here.
On the original Switch, the 2019 revision with the longer battery life, serial numbers beginning XKW, is worth more than a 2017 launch unit. Its screen is plastic and scratches easily, and the first-generation kickstand is known for snapping off. The Switch Lite is handheld only: no dock, no TV output, and its controls are built into the shell, which matters for the next section.

Joy-Con drift, honestly
Drift is the single biggest condition factor on a Switch, and pretending otherwise helps nobody. Every stick is tested, both Joy-Cons and both axes, before an offer is confirmed.
On a standard Switch or an OLED, drifting Joy-Cons are a bounded problem. They detach, so the fix is a controller-level repair and the deduction stays with the controllers. If you have a spare non-drifting pair in a drawer, bring them.
On a Switch Lite the sticks are part of the shell. Fixing drift there means opening the unit and working on the board, so the deduction is larger. Either way, drift does not disqualify a console. Tell us in the first message and the number we quote already has it priced in.

Reset and deregister before you sell
Deregister the console from your Nintendo Account first, so your digital library and any account funds stay with you rather than stranded on hardware you no longer own. Then open System Settings, System, Formatting Options and initialise the console.
Empty it before you come in: game card out, microSD out, and a look through the case for anything you meant to keep. A screen protector can stay on.
If the console has ever run custom firmware or homebrew, say so. Modified units and consoles banned from Nintendo's online services still get a figure, since every Switch is quoted per device on WhatsApp, and a modification found during the test simply means the offer is redone in front of you.

Where to sell a Nintendo Switch in Dubai
The usual route is to carry the handheld around Naif and the Deira electronics market, opening the negotiation again at every counter. It works, and it costs you an afternoon to find out what the console is actually worth.
